BT live - Stick it down - 5th Tuesday any sketch

Hi there!

My dearest friend, joined her first Design Team over at
- yeah Ronna!
I found some extra time to whip this up!
This is my first time, over there...
BT live
 Yep - that's RIGHT!!
Breakfast Television came to Muskoka.
They filmed live, at Deerhurst Resort - and we got to be a part of it.
The beautiful Dina Pugliese and Frank Ferragine (my Frankie-Flowers - would love to
pick this guys brain about my garden!)
were in our "backyard" - we were NOT missing this one!
My title is layered cut files with liquid glass and textured Bree thickers
A clock to remind me HOW EARLY we had to get up to see
BT live
Some machine stitching and Martha Stewart white texture effect with a button

I chose Brenshevia's single sketch:

A fun sketch, and totally LOVE this challenge!
First time I have had two photos I wanted to scrap and I got to peruse all the sketches,
until I found the one that would work for ME!!
(on the same sight)

sososohappy - LGS Dec 5 week - monochromatic

Hi there!

I hope you have been enjoying your holidays.
We have been eating and visiting (and still not quite done)

We have a 5th Week in December
and with that an extra Challenge for you!
Let's Get Sketchy
sososo happy
This photo says it all!! We were having so much FUN - we are so happy
when the 4 of us get to hang out!
I chose to use white (and have been planning this layout for months)
when I saw this challenge, it gave me the opportunity to finish it up.
White really helps this photo to pop!

Here are some close-ups:
I created with BoBunny and a lot of Gesso.
[I had to iron everything after it dried]
In my stash, I had some vintage buttons from my Baba's button collection
- over the years they developed an off-white tinge
I have been wanting to use feathers for some time
I love working with them so much that I am already planning my next feather page.
My banner is different size silhouette cut files.
Another, large button with some off-white floss
With acrylic shiny dots.
I love how it all came together and by using the Gesso,
I was able to sneak in splashes of colour into my page.

I based my layout on Jenessa's sketch:
LGS Dec week 2
This is an AMAZING Challenge with a STUNNING Design Team REVEAL
...you have to hop over and get inspired

I can't wait to see what YOU do with this CHALLENGE
remember to link up for your chance to WIN!

He is the reason for my / our JOY!
Look at this face...
Merry CHRISTmas 2014

This year, I fell in love with the BOBunny Christmas collection.

Remember my tutorial, I needed the hand punch of holly leaves  - for THIS layout.

FAMILY CHeeR - Stuck?! Sketches + SATW Mood Board

Hi there!

I am back playing along with
with a chance to GUEST DESIGN with Laura's talented team
FAMILY CHeeR
I had this old photo, it's in mint condition (not a crack or tear - although a little stain
that can easily be covered * she winks)
of my Daddy (as a child), my Baba, her mother (my Double Baba),
her father (my Double Gigi), and her brother (my Uncle Mike)
I really needed to scrap this photo but wanted to do a non-traditional holiday
layout.  The SATW mood board helped me with that!

 Here are some close ups:
My title is a mix of Carta Bella Element Stickers and Thickers (altered)
I love how they kept the rustic feel of this treasured photo
This is where I pulled in the snowflake feel of the mood board
and little splash of colour ~ circa 1959
(and covered a stain)
I fussy cut and added the clock for this timeless photo
(if you look close the newsprint is the dictionary: Cheer and Love so fitting for my photo)

Here is the sketch by Laura Whitaker:
Stuck?! Sketches Dec 15
With this sketch, they are partnering with Scrap Around the World  and this gorgeous mood board to play along with!
SATW Mood Board
I choose the colour scheme (teal and red) along with the antique feel of the afghan in the middle
The delicate feel of the board is why I chose to use My Mind's Eye velum
and my first time playing along with SATW

I hope you find time to play along with these great challenges!
