Elora GORGE - Stuck?! Sketches! Design Team REVEAL- June 1st

Hi there!
and HaPpY June 1st
Can you believe it...we are half way through 2016 - sshhh!!!!

Ok - today I am sharing my latest
We met my family at Elora Gorge Conservation last year (2015)
for Canada Day long weekend - it had flooded that Spring and the main
road was closed (as you see) My Little and his cousin
thought it was great to walk across
(due to water levels there was no swimming in the Gorge)
They had a blast!
I crafted using Little Yellow Bicycle - these papers are perfect for documenting this adventure.

Here are some close-ups:
Mixed title using Fancy Pants mini-alpha stickers and
Bottle Cap Inc wood alpha tiles
For texture I added some cork chevron ribbon and Dimensional texture paste
with my Tim Holtz stencil
My photo is edged with white acrylic paint, a cork corner tucked in behind and
a Simple Stories label sticker for my date, a My Minds Eye brad
to finish it off!
Heidi Swapp circle stickers:
Little Yellow Bicycle word sticker
be WILD and FREE
The boys imagined they were on this big excursion to find some treasure!

Here is Laura's sketch:

  1. I love the photo and the tile title! DT Stuck?!

  2. Love it. You always take such great photos. (Colour me green.) As always I'm inspired by the way you can group and layer embellishments. I wish I was as brave as you with ink and textures. Fabulous page.

  3. Love your title work...great layering...fabulous inspiration!!!
