Look at that vintage photo!!

For my third birthday, my parents took me to Niagara Falls.

A hot summer day in August, 1975.

Baby pictures of me are rare, so when 

my mom shared this one, I had to scrap it!

An entire page with a mix of lines from one company

- that is a first for me!

Friday the 13th

Today, truly is a REVEAL

I am sharing a 

very moving photo my friend shared with me.

I haven't stopped thinking about this photo since 

I set my eyes on it - I had to document it!

Wow!  Look at this photo...this one talks to you but yet calms you,

while warming that smile on your heart.

This one had to tell a story!

Life isn't always black and white

Sometimes a little colour gives us that voice

Here are some close ups:

 I mixed the title using Heidi Swapp stickers and 

silhouette cut file

always brothers

 I tucked a large cog /wheel behind the photo, as we're always thinking

and planning

it's a crazy world

Added a button with layers and tied a bow to hold it all together

[I left the journal tag for Anne to complete]

splatters of Mister Huey's

as life may not always fall exactly as planned 

some added stitching 

"hand-in-hand" we're doing this together

I added a box of Stickles around the photo

"we all need a lil'sparkle in our journey"

 I purposely left the last strip of BoBunny paper to be read:

because in the end

we're always brothers

Merci - Sketch n'Scrap #72

Hi there!

I was invited and selected to

volunteer to help on my Littles' 

class trip last Friday

(great start to Mommy's Day weekend)

I am sending in this card

to say:

Merci

I mixed in some Stampin'UP, My Mind's Eye and Tape Works washi

(I chose this one as it's transparent over the fun paper)

Our trip started at the Logging Museum

studying simple machines.

Algonquin Park still has SNOW and a ton of mud!

It was a sunny day but still about 11 degrees cooler

than back in town.

[what an 1.5 hour drive can change!!]

We finished the day at the bogs =

wet, stinky grade two'ers

but so much FUN!!!

Baby Stanley ANNOUNCEMENT!! I'm lovin' it

Hi there!!

My eldest niece and her husband found out

they are EXPECTING!!

SQUEeeeeAL!!

I was able to help out

in my crafty way!!

Baby Stanley Announcement

They met working at 

McDonald's,

got married last July,

and now growing their family!

I picked up a McDonald's kids meal,

altered it

using Fancy Pants mini alphas and 

a mix of Thickers

FUN right!?

Christmas Kitty - Stuck?! Sketches! DT May 1st

Hi there!

and Happy May!!

Officially May 1st today (WoW!)

and that means some new

inspiration

at

STUCK?! SKETCHES!

Stuck?! Sketches - May 1st

This is Chispa, our adopted rescue. 

He has these huge blue eyes that cried for us to take home.

He was so scared and started licking the snow off of

our snow brush - we new we did the right thing!!

Strangely enough, I am not a cat person.

We always had cats growing up but

none were mine.

Here are some close ups:

 Mix font title; Simple Stories word sticker Christmas 
and a wooden veneer kitty (altered)

and a matching bulb tied with bakers twine

Last Fall, I was blessed to attend one of
Laura's make-n-take technique tag
I added some bling and adjusted the placement of
the berries,
it was the perfect splash of colouring for my page
