Hi there!

Apparently, I live in a bubble and a little behind in the "NEW"

of  the scrapbooking world.

This weekend, I am retreating...

(Definition:  3 day full days of scrapbooking with a full ScrapMuch? store on hand at 

Elm Hurst Spa and Resort)

I could wait to start creating...

Here are a few cards I made:

 I up-cycled a large baggie and divided it into 3

sections.

The bottom was a Project Life card I added some corner 

sequins and inked the edges.

The middle section I added some sequins - wish I had added a bit more

The top portion I altered another project life card with gold.  

This is now the front of my card

- some lucky person will be receiving

Next, I did  a small card of thanks,

while I am away we are having some renos done to our house and 

I sent my little off to my friends house.

Bottom section is patterned paper cut to size (fitting into a small plastic baggie),

added a cut file arrow adorned with a heart enamel dot.

Middle section is red glitter and sequins

Top section, is a silhouette cut file "thanks"

I have to thank her for taking my little all weekend.

Truth is, I didn't get much done, other then fusing EVERYTHING I could

get my hands on. hahaha!!

I can't wait to keep creating with this tool.

baby shower - he was a week old. Boy time flies!! His hat matches his little sweater vest

First Haircut

 For Ecuadorians, it is custom to have your child's first hair 

cut at the age of 2, traditionally there is a big party and a hairdresser

guides everyone to donate and cut a lock of hair,

we opted for waiting until he was 2 and paying a professional!
(my sister cut my hair when I was little and have pictures to prove it LoL!)

My little wasn't sure if his hair would hurt being cut...hehehe

Happy Spring l Happy Easter

Hi there!

I had some time to create some fun cards for fun.

First one is a fun, Spring BIRTHday card

May all your dreams come true...

Orange and pink is the new "in" colour for the season and I'm a fan!

I had this patterned paper in my stash that I layered with American Craft cardstock, trailed the butterfly with Stickles, tied the some floss to match along

with some machine stitching.

and another is 

a sweet Easter card

I crafted using the entire collection of Simple Stories; Pound of party,

what a FUN collection.

My family threw a surprise 30th BIRTHday party for me.

Everyone was hiding in my house as I walked in from a hot August day

of golfing.

The funny thing about these photos....

I have been bellowing for baby photos from my parents,

stating that I have NONE!

(I am the middle child with 3 baby photos in total)

My mom gave these to me

HA-ha-ha!!

Grade 2 - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday March 4

Hi there!

 I am sharing my

latest double page

It's Friday...

I had one sheet from Karen Foster Designs, and this brick paper by

Authentique - it looks his school walls

I love how they flow together.

This is my littles' first day

of Grade 2

He's a serious little guy so

it's great to see him have fun.

 Doctor Soos cut file title (I left the D middle in) and fussy cut cork 2

with some paint splatter / graffiti on the wall

 Last Saturday, 5 of us gathered for an impromptu swap and crop

I swapped this Learn card from my girl, Ronna.

Perfect colour and fit for my page.

 In place of a circle, I cut a large apple

and monogrammed it with  j

 Topped the apple with a fussy cut cork stem.
