This is my hubby and his best buddy at a Halloween Party

He was given a copy of this photo

a few years back -  LoL

I knew this paper and sketch would be boo-tiful!

It was worth the wait.

 Silhouette cut file title Happy and enamel dots, with a 

wooden pumpkin

 Machine stitching and some ink to distress this paper

BEWARE MME sticker to add some fun and the date Oct 31

in Halloween font.

 I had a messy fun time playing with inks and mists, of course

I had to smoosh (that's a technical term)

the newsprint and distress it.

Sharing my October Reveal.

Every Labour Day weekend a group of us

go interior camping

in Algonquin Park.

This year was Hambone Lake -

2 portages and some ninja frogs for the weekend.

Here are some close ups:

Left Side

 I sanded and splashed some acrylic paint around

on some core'dinations cardstock from my stash

Right Side

Camp Ninja Frog

Silhouette cut file title, with mixed fonts

and some froggy-prints peeking out.

I used my chevron roller (I won at ScrapMuch? retreat)

 This is a close up of the sign we carved and hung at the camp

(she whispers the "Royal WE" LoL)

And of course Ninja FROG because they were HUGE

at the point LoL!

 In my stash I had this metal flair

"EXPLORE"

so fitting for our adventure

 This is my little - almost SEVEN YEARS ago

Honestly, I blinked and in 11 days he'll

be Lucky #7

It's moments...like this, my boys, I remember them like it was yesterday

today I am sharing

my first double page

for September

We were invited to go fishing with our friend, Paul.

He has this great cabin on the Big East Lake.

I took my good camera and was there

to "capture our moment"

 

Here are some fun close ups:

Left side

 I used Fancy Pants collection and stenciled my background

to coordinate

I was lucky enough to sneak away and crop

with the ScrapMuch? girls and buy a new stencil

Right side

 I have to admit fishing in a boat with a personal guide

is something else!

[But not much room to adjust or move for photos LoL]

 Big Yellow Bicycle cork letters for my title

(thank you to my friend Laura for the help with that)

TODAY was REEL fun

DIY embellishment

 My little told me I had to make a GONE FISHin sign

his google eye makes him fun

That's right 2lbs - was the small one

My little was reelin' in one at 2lbs and one 2.2lbs

made for some yummy dinner!

my BFF - Stuck?! Sketches Aug-15

Hi there!

I am so excited

to share this page with you!

Today, is ALL about

a very SPECIAL gal

in my life.

HaPpY BIRTHday Ronna

my BFF

In March, Ronna and I were truly blessed to attend her first
ScrapMuch? Retreat together.
  3 very full days of scrappy shenanigans! 
She brought her polaroid - and these baby were captured!
This Echo Park collection; Capture Life was so PERFECT
- in many ways!!
This is Ronna's favorite colour, I love chevrons (I do!)
and when we scrap together
(and I'm going to admit - I think that was the last time
we've been able to squeeze in some scrappy time together)
it's like we're in our own little world or place.
The abstract park in the middle of the city, fitting!

some Bling, run-on paint splatters

and wooden tiles

I added the blue glass Bling to the flowers

 -just to give a lil'pop

 Here, we're in our evening lounge wear,

AWESOME Moments like these

= PRICELESS

We are getting ready

to host my family

at Casa Ramirez this weekend.

and today I get to share my

This is my Little and his best buddy.

It was Grandparents Day at school and these photos were shared

with me.

They're just SCREAMING silliness and these boys

have so much fun when their together!

(actually I didn't have a choice - he wanted to scrap these photos  his Ronna gave him!!)

 Mixed thickers gives it that silly feel

 I layered up this corner - brings a lot of fun

The up-cycled tag has an "R" in the spade, so I was asked to

use this "sick tag"

Our family name and his buddy both start with R

Some  acrylic paint, a rub-on from my stash

(at the ScrapMuch? retreat I won a stack of rub-on's - lucky ME!)

I inked my wooden button

and added the buddies flair
