Today is a SPECIAL day

It is my eldest nieces

BIRTHday

 This is my nieces engagement photo!!

Just stunning how it captures her excitement - I LOVE it 

- this sketch was a perfect pairing.
I am GRATEFUL my niece found her soul mate

I have been carrying this layout around all month and finally get to share

it with you.

 These are my beautiful sisters,  AKA my side-kicks

Last Fall, we planned some family photos outside,

the three of us snuck away and had some fun on our own.

I have some exciting news to share.

My mommy surprised me with a scrappy weekend away!

I met her in Barrie - and we scrapped away.

I was able to join in

 This was party night...

Mardi Gras 

The offered face painting to all the kids

My little wasn't sure if he was Batman or Wolverine that night LoL

He dreams of being a superhero

[little does he know - he is already MY superhero]

 I mixed up the title using Fancy Pants mini alphas

with Disney font

(these is part of our Disney trip)

Added some stitching to match my very large button 

 My metal flairs added some fun

What a party it was!

We all had fun under the stars

Bunny teeth - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday DT REVEAL

Hi there!!

I am sharing my inspiration

Bunny teeth

 Graffiti art is hitting it BIG again.

We had to give it a try.

My little and I were making a mess, using watercolors,

he loves scrapping with me.

I showed him Laura's sketch and this is

the background he came up with.

Talent

Then I had him write down words he could spell -  on his own

(I wasn't allowed to help)

Fun - right?!!

 A mixed title using Doodlebug Design and Studio Calico

sticker alphas - very similar styles

continuing with my theme

 here I was able to incorporate some stitching and my white simply

pressed clay button ~  that I made.

[No card stock other then the background]

 An arrow pointing to those 2 funny, wiggly teeth

that he decided to share with us while we out for dinner

...and I journal-ed

FARM FUN - Stuck!? Sketches April 1st, 2015

Hi there!

Happy Easter
Even though, I worked part of this long weekend,
I found myself in my favorite room, creating.
I am sharing my newest page

FARM  FUN

In 2011, my little, was asked to be in a promo photo shoot
for Deerhurst Resort on their Farm.
We had a lot of fun feeding the animals and hangin' out
 - my FAV moment captured...
Chillin' and snuggling with his mummy!
RARE - he's not a snuggler :(

Here are some close ups:

I mixed my title using 2 different alphas.

I got a little messy with Mister Huey's Mist and acrylic paint
and of course some stitching.

 A rub-on from my stash - {SAYS IT ALL}
