Scrap~tures Guest Designer - LOVE HIM + LGS All ABOUT ME

Hi there

 I am here with your
5th and FINAL September's
 Scrap~tures Kit Club
 Tuesday Temptation 

- the very last day of  September - POOF tomorrow is a new month! 

I have had a blast with this months kit !!   I loved the challenge of doing 5 layouts.  This week I wanted to do something a little different plus play along with another challenge

.

I know you have everything to do this layout.......maybe this layout will tempt YOU!

LOVE HIM

 This is my silly "BABY" - he will ALWAYS be my Baby [even though he turned 6 - yesterday!]  

He was playing around with my camera and figured out how to use the timer...this is what I found.....Stinker Pants!!   

He loves to scrapbook with me and /or even help me.  So....I used a Silhouette heart cut file, removed the heart and gave the 12x12 to Joaquin, and the White Bistro Chalk Marker.  I asked him to "write-on" the "chalkboard' for me.
Darling right!!

Look at THAT face...
A fun title using the MR naked chipboard + Red Bistro Chalk Marker
 - keeping with the "Graffiti" look.

He even drew me some hearts

 - this kid melts my heart!!!

  The washi tape was very tedious to wrap around the heart cut file from CS WorldWin White and along the edges [will probably NEVER do it again] but so worth the effort!!!

Supplies:  CS WorldWin White, The Paper Studio Black,  CB element stickers,  "HIM", Maya Road Naked Chipboard (altered), Love My Tapes Washi, Bistro Chalk Marker (White & Red) 

 [ALL part of your kit]   

Aside from my adhesive and pop dots you OWN everything to do this layout

That's right...we want to see YOU

on a layout

This IS #ME

I wear about 9 different hats - that's ME

I journal-ed around my LO.  It reads:

This is #ME!....Mummy, Wife, Grand-daughter, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Friend and Designer...my life is FULL...I spread myself thin...divided into ALL these "pieces"....I wear all these Hats, PROUDLY...Going this way....and That way....every which way....But in the End...in the End I will never give in...NEVER give up...I will KEEP it together....This is #ME!

 

 My title is Silhouette cut files + LYB cork alphas, Bling-ed with Say it in Pearl's

I added some sheer shimmer mist (copper)

-who doesn't love a lil'shimmer

The flower cluster mix (hand-made crochet - thank you Erica-dorine) + FIT Kraft Daisies,

jillibean soup etched flower buttons with hemp bow

I wanted to include a little close-up of the photo cut up

Finished it off with cork chevrons + foam squares

I have created a "Scrapbook Bucket List"

Things I see or think of and would like to try

(a list so I don't forget!)

Some of my list:  print and scrap a sepia photo, scrap photo bigger then 4x6,

cut up a photo - and scrap it!, JOURNAL (something I don't do enough of)

use more clusters!!

I love this layout!

Notice how it mimics the ocean breeze blowing over us

and of course it's PINK

This photo was taken on the beach in Dominican Republic

- MME; Market Street is perfect!!

[I didn't need any other papers]

 My title is mixed with wooden tag tiles, ribbon and OA Key Caps

 

 My flower clusters are DIY Roly Rosies-Paper

(something new to me but I like them)

mixed with BBP paper flowers

Layered Flower wooden veneers (altered) + Maya Road Bingo Motifs

Sweet and clean!!

I am still having a blast with this months amazing kit !! 

I am sure you've found time to craft with all this rain and kiddos back in a routine

....maybe my layout will tempt YOU!

A PERFECT MOMENT

Carta Bella; Moments and MEMORIES Kit

   Supplies:  CB Patterned Paper; Black Damask, Fancy Floral,  and small stripe, 

CB element stickers:"A PERFECT MOMENT", TCW 6x6 Stencil (Mini Confetti) 

 & Bistro Chalk Marker (Black) 

 [ALL part of your monthly kit]  

 Machine stitching, Acrylic paint (Black), Mister Huey's Mist (Inky Black), TH Tiny Attacher, metal cogs /gears (2), Black floss and SU butterfly hand punch.

This is my "partner-in-crime" -my Ronna!!  

Who I create with!! 

 For her birthday, she received the NEW Instax FujiFilm instant camera!!! 

 Cool yet so retro -RIGHT?!  

She first captured me at my "moment in thought"...then I got her LOL!! 

A PERFECT MOMENT

 These photos had to be scrapped to tell our story!!

We were a little "flutter-ed" at this crop, the "GEARS-were-a-turnin'"

but we couldn't find anything, things that we just had!?

We both managed to get some things done but nothing like we had planned! HA!

We had a BLAST and spent time together

-  we laughed and laughed and laughed!

I {heart} School - Sketches4all September LO Challenge

Hi there!

Today I am playing along with

Sketches4all

Grade 1

I love this Boy!!! 

 I love it more when he wants to scrap with me!!! 

 He wrote "GRADE"and 2014

 (his 4 is backwards = I treasure it MORE!!!) 

 I never correct his work ( I figure he's only 5 with teachers and everyone else 

down his throat to do things "properly" I can relax LoL!)

He is actually holding this cardstock (folded) in the photograph 

 - you can still see the seam!!

 

 I had this foam title which is perfect (he loves school and I know this will change one day)

I bordered my 12 x 12 with Bistro Chalk Markers (red)

 Look at his penmanship - PERFECT-O!!

A silhouette cut file (doubled with foam dots) and bakers twine

(in place of the ribbon in the sketch)

I splattered Mister Huey's Mist

and edged the photo with yellow acrylic paint.

I had a messy, fun time with this layout.

My son is very pleased with it as well!

...yep!!  The tooth fairy has visited Casa Ramirez

 A DIY embelly tooth with some googly eyes and twine

[For a masculine take on losing a tooth]

 A lot of detailed machine and hand stitching along with Mister Huey's mists

Craft paper really kept the "true colour"

of my mists

Throw Back Thursday

Look at me...looking at my sisters - hehehe!

I came across this photo that my maternal gramma had and had written our names

on the back of the photo - rare

(I love how off-centre it is - circa late 70's)

A cut file and I dusted off my CraftGeek-roll it

 I mixed up the title, using Thickers and a metal word title (altered)

I painted "memories" Indigo 

 MME vellum paper mixed with carta bella patterned paper

embellished with Maya Road wooden bingo motifis and 

Studio Calico wooden veneer (altered)

 One more piece of striped vellum - I love it!!

A little stitching another MR motif

I love how this layout came together

I have been having fun crafting with this amazing kit....maybe this layout will TEMPT YOU!

For my BIRTHday this year, my Daddy

aka Papa

took us all out for Wings n'Beers
This is (some of) my Family.
 My mom and 2 of my nieces are MIA.   Lunch was yummy
 - although wings are a rare-ity in our family but on those occasions  - oh so yummy!!  

Our very patient waitress, was so nice

and snapped a family photo...
I altered my wooden veneer using the Black Bistro Chalk Marker
also created a Black Edge around my photos

then... we ALL photo bombed the picture!

hehehe!

Did I mention, I love this months kit?!!
