TONKA BOYS - Boys Rule

Hi There

Have YOU seen the new
Sketch Challenge
at
by the very talented Laura Whitaker?
May Sketch Challenge
Here is my take:
Tonka Boys
This was just too much fun to create!!
Pebbles had this busy vehicle patterned paper
- just PERFECT for my photo!
I layered with Bo Bunny.

The title ( Tonka BOYS) was fitting for my son and his little friend.
Foam Thickers (altered) with Fancy Pants word stickers
Every time, we would go to the mall,
he had to bring a loonie for a ride.

I created a road behind the layers and added one little car
and "BEEP!" sticker

I embellished with Pebbles "HONK!" sticker
and a cut dump truck
( my friend Joey made this for me last June
- I finally used it! )
to add dimension I used these funky buttons,
tinfoil for the window, and
I splatter Mister Huey's Mist

I love it when a layout just falls into place with a great sketch

If you haven't played along over at
- you SHOULD - there is still time

Thank you for stopping by

  1. Vibrant and creative! I am inspired to do this sketch :) I have to laugh at the passenger in the car, he looks scared of Joaquin's driving, lol

  3. This is super cute. I love how you created the road. The background paper is really busy, but it really works with how you've created the page (if that makes sense).
