Elora Gorge II

I created this fun masculine page using Little Yellow Bicycle Fern and Forrest collection.

So fun and perfect for these photos.

We were spending the weekend camping at Elora Gorge

It had rained so much there were major flooding warnings,

This road /bridge was closed due to high water levels.

Here are some close-ups:

 I cut a circle into the patterned paper 

using the word CURIOUS

- they boys were exploring and finding all of natures treasures left after a major flood

 A DIY post sign using Little Yellow Bicycle stickers, patterned paper cut into

a flag and brown wool wrapped into a bow

explore  Snips and Snails   TIME TO PLAY  just like brothers

Cork chevrons that I inked, centered in a circle,

textured paste with Tim Holtz stencil and

balancing everything off with a My Mind's Eye decorative brad.

Elora GORGE - Stuck?! Sketches! Design Team REVEAL- June 1st

and HaPpY June 1st

Can you believe it...we are half way through 2016 - sshhh!!!!

Ok - today I am sharing my latest

STUCK?! SKETCHES!

 REVEAL

Elora GORGE

We met my family at Elora Gorge Conservation last year (2015)

for Canada Day long weekend - it had flooded that Spring and the main

road was closed (as you see) My Little and his cousin 

thought it was great to walk across

(due to water levels there was no swimming in the Gorge)

They had a blast!

I crafted using Little Yellow Bicycle - these papers are perfect for documenting this adventure.

Here are some close-ups:

 Mixed title using Fancy Pants mini-alpha stickers and 

Bottle Cap Inc wood alpha tiles

 For texture I added some cork chevron ribbon and Dimensional texture paste

with my Tim Holtz stencil

 My photo is edged with white acrylic paint, a cork corner tucked in behind and

a Simple Stories label sticker for my date, a My Minds Eye brad

to finish it off!

EGG HUNT 2016 - ScrapMuch? Kit

Hi there!

One last post to show you an AMAZING

ScrapMuch? Project kit

EGG HUNT 2016

This double page layout kit is from last year (2015) and is

sold out

(so cute - it didn't last long)

But they have so many more to chose from!!

Every year, here in Muskoka, The Nutty Chocolatier offers the town an egg hunt.  

It's divided into age groups and there are 25,000 

chocolate eggs to be gathered -

with a Golden egg for the ultimate prize.

My Little loves to find frozen eggs

(we always have snow for Easter)

and then head home for a chocolate fondue

 Silhouette cut file title and I added the year

 - as we do this every year!

How stinkin' cute is this bunny in the basket

I embossed my flowers and added some Bling

and more embellishing to balance out the other side

Laura and the girls have some really cute kits to share!!

My Little didn't even try for the golden egg,

he just wanted to get home and fondue!

Of course, I made it my own but really kept true the kit!

It's so cute!

Dying 4 EGGS - ScrapMuch? Design Team Farewell

Hi there!

It is that time to share 

my last 

take on the

very LAST sketch over at ScrapMuch?

dying 4 eggs

My Little LOVES to dye eggs!  Each year he tries to be a little

more creative and change things up.

This year we found an empty nest and had to use it.

We had one "wounded" egg so we created hats and such for the other

survivors LOL

Here are some close-ups:

 cut file title on Easter grass, I used fringe scissors, fussy cut each piece on an angel and then inked and curled each blade of grass. 

Love the effect.

 silhouette bunny cut file tucked behind my photos,

adding a little matte pink enamel dot nose.

here I machine stitched my ric-rac and used my Fuse tool to 

create a little pocket "captured"

the view finder I embellished with a heart

enamel dot and glitter!

Look at that vintage photo!!

For my third birthday, my parents took me to Niagara Falls.

A hot summer day in August, 1975.

Baby pictures of me are rare, so when 

my mom shared this one, I had to scrap it!

An entire page with a mix of lines from one company

- that is a first for me!
