My lil' guy just had to have an "only Sponge Bob page

This was the PERFECT sketch to showcase this paper

As you may know, Sponge Bob SquarePants lives in a Pineapple under the sea...

so bubbles are a MUST for this LO
I used this TIP and TECHNIQUE
shared by Laura Whitaker
I choose 3 different sized circles and blue acrylic paint

Perfect RIGHT?!

 I love the use of a VERY OVER SCALE TITLE
more appropriate "The BIG 6"
layered and stitched

 A DIY "SQUARE" flair

My lil' guy is so serious...making his wish!!
I love this kid.

We can't get enough of Sponge Bob SquarePants
he is so funny!!!

I didn't title or journal this one...

 hahaha!!  So posed and so 80's

Mom sitting and her Girls surrounding her

[ the guy would hold the button until the perfect picture was captured ]

I love this BoBunny collection

 Bazzil flower cluster with BoBunny sticker centre,

some pins and baker's twine

 a layered tag with some Bling

3 star brads. and an embossed star,

some fussy cutting and Knock-out punch

The patterned edge is CraftGeek Roll-it using the star pattern

[ I won it at a retreat ]

Oh I remember this day clearly!!  

We gathered at Olan Mills Studios LoL - who didn't have photos there??!

As you may know I scrap my lil'Guy

A LOT!!

[he's SO darn cute and I only have one]

I was feeling a little Fancy Pants and was in need to scrap something very girly!!

I had this photo of my lil'sister and I from the summer

we had all gone out for her BIRTHday

truly...FABULOUS

 We had so much FUN!!  Best of all we had our Girl Marilou snappin'photos
truly...FABULOUS night with the Girls

 some reverse masking, acrylic paint, candy bubbles and a cut file

 Miser Huey's mist, stitching, little pink ribbon

and a "sweet" flair

 Candid cards - pulled this layout together.

Not much but small details - here and there!

(I can't believe we're into our 3 week in October!??)

thankful

This time of year, we have so much to thankful for,  especially 

getting the entire family together to eat!!

This handmade paper is perfect for any Fall layout.

In 2011, I hosted Thanksgiving dinner.

 We are so thankful for family gatherings and the spread we're
able to provide.
I went a little crafty and fancy

 This is one of the leaves I decorated with liquid pearls,
the grey Say-it-with-pearls accent the date.

Traditions Home Appetite Nice Kindness Family Unforgettable Love
To go with the leaf name tags (I made), I splurged and bought a pricey swan-gourd center piece
I love succulent plants and still have this.

This is my little guys neighbour friend

- who has now moved away

 Remember, I am still working on my "Scrapbook Bucket-list"

I finally had an opportunity to try and use Laura Whitaker's

Frosted and Embossed Acrylic Tutorial

Look at my moon!!! What an effect and a great way to up-cycle

I used my snakeskin folder to create Dr. Connor's skin

YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS Technique - LOVE it!!

I tucked a piece behind my photos and splattered acrylic paint
along with some stitching!!
Now, one more Halloween layout off the list!

TBT - 25th - ScrapMuch? + LM #212 Anything Goes

Hi there!

It's not my DT week

at

ScrapMuch?

but when I saw this

sketch...I couldn't stop "drooling"!!!

25th

 ~ Organizing my crafty space (I do that a lot ) LOL
I came across these photos, from my 25th BIRTHday

Silhouette cut file and anchor as my "arrow" 

pointing to US - SMOKING our cigars!

...for my 25th I HAD to eat 

fresh lobster and smoke a cigar

[ strange since we are both NON-smokers ]

with my Daddy,

in beautiful Nova Scotia.

I'm not really sure why I had this request but I have the BEST Daddy

a girl could ask for - he obliged!

This Carta Bella kit came with a lobster!!!

Look how young my Daddy is - WOW!

and me with glasses! Ha!
