Hi there 

I am sharing my

February Week 3

my BOYS

This picture was taken when we visited Ottawa,
look how little my boy was.
Yet all grown up and taking it all in.
We're from a small northern town so this was a BIG deal
for him.

 My heidi swapp sticker title
my BOYS
is just perfect to complete this page

 I attended a Stampin'Up demo and we made these bows
a while back and finally had an opportunity to use it.

I turned this close up to black and white
so you could see my second flag strip
I embossed a piece of plastic with my large
polka dot folder
When you look at it,
half is shiny
but I couldn't photograph without using B&W

REAL boy kisses

It's TRUE!!!  I have FINALLY started on our Disney trip from 2013.

As the story goes, my plan was to start March 2013, at my 3 day

scrappy retreat.

Only to discover (once I arrived 4.5 hours from home) it was still 

sitting in a bag on my dining room table [she giggles]

For those who know me, know I lug this bag around every where with great intentions...

Here is one (of many) to come.

We were in Disney downtown

and my lil'guy and I stopped for rest

and REAL boy kiss

I created using Studio Calico and different coloured cardstock, with different cut files.

I dipped into my Disney World stickers and

Mickey Mouse pins.

 My title is 3 different Silhouette cut file fonts, adding  Glossy Accents

to boy for some shine.

 Walt Disney World is so FUN

 My new "& clips" (are FAV - for right now)

used my TH Tiny Attacher and added the MM pin

for a splash of metal

Here is my Single Page REVEAL: 

LOVE

I have been saving this for 6 years now, it was time to STICK it DOWN  *she winks
 I'm a sketch-y kinda Gal - when I saw this sketch, I knew exactly what I was going to create.
  I needed to flip the sketch to work for my page but still kept true to it.
 This is my little guy's very first hand and footprint
valentine card - he was just 4 months old.

Here are some close ups:

The title was perfect for my page

I added bubbles to my heart "o"

I had printed the story of our little crafty adventure,

It reads:
Happy Valentine's Day
As we celebrate Joaquin's first Valentine's, I thought
we'd do something special for you!!
[ I'll keep it short ]

I created using My Mind's Eye.  My cascading hearts are layered and stitched,
to give some depth

I used Glossy Accents on these hearts to match my page.
My journal reads:
Enjoy his very first foot print and hand print
Seal with a kiss

then I saw him!!!

I Bling-ed a half pink heart
My tag reads:
Labour is the only blind date where you
know you will meet the LOVE of your life
Although, with this colour challenge I went heavy in the blue and green
shades, I was able to splash in some pink

Remember the days when you could bathe your babe in the sink?!

I bathed mine in the bathroom sink until he really didn't fit any more (+ 6 months)

My son is just a two weeks old here

I never used a wipe on his "fresh" bottom, until he was 2 months old

We had a "SPA" routine for every diaper change.

Calm spa music, lavender and warm water

I do EVERYTHING over the TOP!

"acute one"  felt letters from my stash
acute triangles - fitting title!

I had this cute EK Success bathtub in my stash way back from my baby shower
I added the Calico wooden veneer hearts because bath time
is always full of love and fun
I monogrammed his towel using Fancy Pants mini alphas  

In my stash, I also had an announcement metal button.
I up-cycled some silver foil (from my can of Orangina)
and embossed it, enhancing the silver taps on the bathtub.
darling right?!
