LGS - August Week 3 Sketch TEAM A - Wild at Heart

We are officially into the THIRD Week of August WOW!!!

Let's Get Sketchy

TEAM A has a NEW sketch up

Wild at Heart 

This photo was taken on the beach, while we were camping at Arrowhead Provincial Park 

~ my son face bombed the photo - silly Boy!

Looking all Rockstar LoL

PH collection works well for this beach theme

I added burlap ribbon for texture

He truly is :   Wild at Heart

I air misted my title with three different colours 

and used the coordinating colour to faux stitch each letter

I also faux stitched a heart in behind the word Heart

this little saying was PERFECT: EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

 I created this cluster with washi tape covered tags and mist

word stickers, badge and word arrow

I love that BOY

 I used my TH mask and Mister Huey's Mist along with some Stickles.

I will agree;  the weather has challenged us this year, but we can honestly say

BEST SUMMER EVER!

here is my REVEAL

giggle giggle giggle

The last week of July, my entire family went camping

in Niagara Falls - and it rained EVERYDAY!

From severe Thunder storms, to constant mist

we started to get a little SILLY !

What better way to be SILLY then with a stick-on MUSTACHE!?

When I received my ScrapMuch? August Monthly Premium Kit

jillibean SOUP; Spicy Social Soup

I knew it was perfect!!

#i  {mustache} U...2 always B  SILLY

The title was fitting for these SILLY photos!

A mix of Thickers, FP sticker Fundamentals, Beanboard Alphas,

with wooden veneer # and MS white texture effect.

I had to add in the retro wooden typewriter

(and of course the "said" mustache)

 to add to the "retro" I dusted off my Epiphany Pendant

( I haven't used it in AGES!! )

with cardstock and FP letters.

I added twine (from my kit) with button brads.

I placed my banner above "FAMILY"

SiLLY FAMILY - we were!!

I hand stitched some fancy mustaches

and Ronna introduced me, to the triple stitch on the Pfaff

(it resembles denim stitching but in white)

I fussy cut the social tab

- my little guy is so SOCIABLE

and we're connected

TBT - Just Sayin...it's 5o'clock somewhere - LGS + The Studio Challenges

Throw BACK Thursday

this photo of my lil'sister and I

at  Disney's Grand Floridian - Disney World

taken about 18 years ago

[ we haven't changed a bit - right?! ]

I'm Just Sayin...it's 5o'clock somewhere

I love this MME Collection but wanted to tone it a little with some Gesso, 

- just enough to have my picture pop.

This resort is stunning, and  right across from Magic Kingdom.

I love that the "U" resembles a glass

It was so hot and only 11 o'clock-ish

We had decided firmly, we needed some refreshing strawberries..

...or strawberry margarita(s)!!  wink wink

They were so smooth!

You now the ones, you take 2 sips

and your "little" glass is empty!?!!

a little red to get those fancy drinks to pop!

add some silhouette cut files, buttons

and PH 3D stickers - perfect

and some Bling - for a girly layout

Let's Get Sketchy August Week 1 REVEAL - Look Whooooo Graduated

It's August ( WOW already!)

summer is FLYing by...

it's New month and a Brand NEW sketch up!

Let's Get Sketchy

TEAM A

REVEAL

here is my Reveal:

Look whooooo Graduated

in June, my son Graduated Senior Kindergarten!!

There is a few little innuendos  

hidden within my layout:

("who" has five o's - he's 5, 

the owl - he always says who-who

glasses - he started wearing them entering SK,

white texture effect stars - he's MY shining star!)

This MME Collection is perfect for a boy LO

here are some close ups:

the title is a silhouette cut file using two different fonts,

and I layered them.

I cut several pairs of glasses and layered them to give

them some thickness, attaching them with a hemp double-bow

(on the owl eyes [patterned paper] I used glossy accents so they popped!

and of course I machine stitched.

Isn't this lil'owl COOL!? Like Will Smith Cool - from

"Fresh Prince" - giggle giggle

It's FRIDAY and that means

it's a NEW

Sketch-y Friday

I made a little move over to

ScrapMuch? Design Team 

TEAM A

(Team A Reveals the first and third Friday of the month

but the exciting part is the 1st is always a double LO)

2"lips" in Ottawa

Three years ago, we spent a few days at the Tulip Festival in Ottawa.

It was so FUN - my little guy is such a Trooper!

(Joaquin was sick with an ear infection)

I used Gesso +  Jamie 6x6 stencil and overlapped with Cherry Cobbler ink

This cluster is a Silhouette Cut File, fussy cut lips,

Foam Thickers and OA mini-Alphas

*giggle giggle

love you more

I continued with the yellow floss and swirled it behind the flower.

I added the Wood Veneer Coin to the camera viewfinder

wooden veneer coins

I heart my Boys!

These paper flower embellished with MME brads

and [heart] coin is the perfect touch
